and in my dream I was looking to get into the good half of the afterlife. It was interesting though, the afterlife had a legal system, with angelic consultants and things. Mine was a woman in an orange suit. they sent me back into the real world during Halloween so that I could go redeem myself. I didn’t know what that’d mean.

Since it was Halloween, no one could tell that I was an actual zombie. I could talk and walk normally, but just looked green with some rotten flesh and stuff. Somewhere along the line I met a little girl, with pigtails and dorky lookin glasses. Something about her was significant. She was afraid of me at first, but after a couple attempts at showing her that I wasn’t going to eat her, she shook my hand and allowed me to introduce myself. My name was charlie.

We then proceeded to walk around, talking about things. We went walking around her school. But suddenly, it was time for me to go. I slipped away for a bit, and found a hallway in which I could open the portal to limbo. Not many people where around, however, as I walked through the gate I saw her wondering down the hallway looking for me. I continued on, and wondered if she’d notice the glass case display at the end of the hall. It had my picture from when I was alive on it. I used to be a teacher there apparently, and I hoped she’d maybe recognize me. 

Then the story seems to wrap itself up a little. The little girl turned out to be a ghost, afraid to move on. In showing her it wasn’t so scary I guess I passed the test. It ended as I was boarding the train to the afterlife.

There was a bubblegum machine, with big round colorful gumballs in it. It stood right next to the entrance of the train. As I was about to pass the train security guard standing next to it, I suddenly remembered I had a quarter in one of my pockets. I put the quarter in the machine, and a colorful ball fell into the tray, but when I looked at the tray, it was already filled with other balls that people had apparently left behind. I took only my own and ate it, happy.

After watching me do this, the guard smiled and said that I may proceed on board. I woke up.
